  • Is this just about graphic design?
    • There is so much more to ExploreVizComm than simply graphic design. Right now, graphic design is one of the more “sexy” parts of visual communications, but we are also working very hard to get students excited about jobs as printing press operators, bindery operators, and so much more. Check out the Job Board and see what’s available now!
  • Is this a school?
    • ExploreVizComm is not a school, but we do have many partnerships with schools that teach visual communications classes and provide scholarships to students who are studying visual communications.
  • How do I get a job with your company?
    • ExploreVizComm is a small non-profit, and we don’t do a lot of hiring, however, we have hundreds of employers that are members of PPI association who might be hiring for all kinds of positions in our member states, take a look at our Job board to see what is available!
  • What is PPI?
    • PPI is a thriving non-profit membership-based trade association serving members that design and produce print, visual and graphic products.
  • What is “visual communications?”
    • “Visual communications” refers to anything that shares a message visually. For us, this usually means design, print, and everything in-between. We make images that tell stories – whether that story be a piece of fine art or a label for a bottle of wine.
  • How do I get a job in visual communications?
    • Depending on the type of career you are looking for, you might need to attend a two or four-year college. Some jobs, such as working on the floor of a printing company, only require a High School diploma. A great place to start is looking at what Jobs are available!
